Trustmark offers a variety of checking and savings accounts designed to complement an array of business functions. Trustmark has the resources and expertise to handle any type of business — from one-person enterprises to large, multi-national corporations. Trustmark's many locations throughout the state make your business banking as convenient as possible. Night depository services are available at most of these locations. Of course, all depositors are insured by the FDIC.

Trustmark's Non-Personal Checking Accounts

Free Business Checking — This non-personal account provides free limited debit and credit transactions with no minimum balance requirement.

  • Minimum opening balance: $100
  • No monthly service charge
  • Up to 200 free combined debit/credit items per month; each transaction over 200 is $0.28 to $0.35, depending upon market
  • Monthly imaged statement
  • Up to $50 discount on first order of business checks
  • Annual safe deposit box discount of $15 with automatic debit, based upon availability
  • Free TrustNetWeb basic balance reporting

Commercial Checking — Perfect for large firms and partnerships that write large numbers of checks and make numerous deposits on a regular basis. The minimum opening balance is $100. Only designated individuals may sign checks; Trustmark ExpressCheck Debit Business Cards are available.

Note: A credit is earned on the daily collected balance after the required Federal Reserve deduction. This allowance may reduce or even eliminate many service charges.

Interest-on-Lawyer’s-Trust Account (IOLTA) – This account is opened as a Commercial Checking account and converted to an IOLTA once an enrollment form is received from the Bar Foundation. Minimum opening balance: $100

  • No monthly service charge
  • A credit is earned on the daily collected balance after the required Federal Reserve reduction
  • Interest earned is paid directly to the Bar Foundation monthly

Non-Personal Interest Checking — Sole proprietorships, certain clubs and not-for-profit organizations may earn interest on their accounts. The minimum opening balance is $1,000. Interest is earned daily on a collected balance of $1,000 or more and is compounded and credited monthly. Only designated individuals may sign checks; Trustmark ExpressCheck Debit Business Cards are available.

Non-Profit Interest Checking – This account provides large non-profit organizations with an alternative to sweep accounts by combining higher interest rates with the convenience of a checking account. This product is not available to public entities such as local, state, or federal government agencies or public schools. Minimum opening balance: $100

  • Monthly service charge of $12
  • Debits and credits are $0.25 per debit item and $0.25 per credit item including ACH transactions
  • ExpressCheck Debit BusinessCard is available
