Blood Services
Founded in 1979, Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) is
a not-for-profit blood service created solely to manage
the state's blood supply. Through combined efforts with
organizations such as Trustmark National Bank, MBS is
able to collect donations at mobile drives by visiting
businesses, schools, churches and other organizations.
MBS distributes blood and blood components to more than
50 hospitals across the state and operates seven drawing
stations in Mississippi.
