About the Program
While on the program, the IDA will work closely with Bottrell and/or Fisher-Brown associates to gain a working knowledge of the insurance industry. In addition to on-the-job training, the IDA will visit various departments within Trustmark and participate in leadership, professional development and communication classes.
The IDA Program is both unique and flexible in that it allows the IDA to be exposed to all angles of the insurance industry. During the program, the IDA and Bottrell or Fisher- Brown will determine how the skill sets of the IDA can best be utilized for the agency and the IDA’s career development. Upon successful completion of the IDA Program and insurance licensing exam, the IDA will be placed either in sales as a Producer or in service as an Account Manager I.
