We've
added new features to Internet Banking!
June, 2008
- ACH Upload list and confirmation New in this release we have added a requested service that gives you positive confirmation of your uploaded ACH files with totals. Additional security is also added requiring business users to re-enter their password before submitting an ACH file upload. Better security and more information for confirmation. (TrustNetWeb only)
- ACH Payments - Now templates can be sorted by recipient name. (TrustNetWeb only)
- Net Worth screens Now you can start building your own view of your personal net worth. This feature allows you to enter assets and liabilities that can be used to calculate net worth. Add assets such as your home, 401(k), other real estate owned, or other loans that may not be with Trustmark. It is an easy way of helping you organize a simple financial picture of your net worth. (Applies to TrustTouchWeb)
- Calendar Pop-up Many of our screens now have a calendar pop-up to assist you in scheduling payments and transfers. (Applies to TrustTouchWeb and TrustNetWeb)
- Enhanced Transaction Categorization We have added features to allow easier creation of transaction categories and now payee categorization. After you have categorized your transactions to track expenses. (Applies to TrustTouchWeb)
- Payee Reporting By popular request we added a new report primarily for consumers. If you use the Categorize Transactions feature and are familiar with the Category Reports you may have wondered how you could sort this by Payees or a "who did I pay" report. Now you can do this. You can either created the Payee or when reconciling add a payee as it appears in the description. Think about how helpful this can be when preparing your taxes next year! (Applies to TrustTouchWeb)
-
Pending Transactions Now the Internet banking system will reflect pending transactions differently. These transactions will now be grouped with all other upcoming pending transfers and will be placed at the top of the Register screen in a a "Transactions Pending" area. This should help you when reconciling your accounts. (Applies to TrustTouchWeb)
-
PFM options Now there is a new option to allow you to Record a New Transaction for reconciling later. Let's say you made a purchase that you don't want to forget and make sure it clears. Or maybe you wrote a check to a niece that may not deposit or cash the check right away. This will help you keep track of it electronically within your pending transactions. When the item clears you will get a changed icon that will either reflect reconciled if it is a perfect match or partially reconciled if not all of the fields match. Other uses could be to enter a voided check from your check register. You can also create register payees or select payees as described in the Register. Payees are used later in your reports (Applies to TrustTouchWeb)
- Balance Subtotals We have added subtotals to your account listing screen. So you will now see the total of all your checking or savings or loans by product group. This again helps you get a quick view of your accounts at Trustmark. (Applies to TrustTouchWeb and TrustNetWeb)
- Delete multiple inbox messages For those of us who have lot's of alerts or messages in our inbox it has always been a tedious effort removing or cleaning up the inbox. Now you will have the ability to check each message or select delete all inbox messages to quickly clean it out. (Suggestion: keeping your inbox clear also helps improve screen refresh times)
- Walking windows for transactions One of our goals has been to improve the initial login speed of the account balance and the transaction view pages. To accelerate the transaction view we limited the number of transactions presented on the initial Register page. The first window will give you twenty transactions, then by clicking next page or one of the subsequent page numbers you can quickly move through your register. (Applies to TrustTouchWeb and TrustNetWeb)

Enhanced Transfer Processing (Applies to TrustTouchWeb and TrustNetWeb)
On October 11, 2007, Trustmark implemented the following changes to the processing of internal transfers (Trustmark account to Trustmark account):
-
Internal transfers involving Trustmark checking, savings and money market accounts will post to the affected accounts almost immediately.
During the banking day, you will be able to transfer funds from one Trustmark account to another and view the effect of the transfer on your available balances on the same day. Transfers to Trustmark personal loans, mortgages and credit cards will not update the balances until the following banking day. As a reminder, please update your email address in the Internet banking system to ensure you receive notification of failed transfers.
-
The daily cutoff time to process internal transfers will be extended from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. central time.
Transfers entered after 5:00 p.m. (CT) will be scheduled for processing on the next banking day and will not be reflected in the available balance until processing. The cutoff time for external transfers (Trustmark account to account at other financial institution) will remain at 3:30 p.m. Remember, external transfers may require three to five days to receive credit.
There is no charge for transfers processed through Trustmark’s Internet banking system; however, there may be charges for transfers requested through Trustmark branches or through the Customer Contact Center.

- Check
images -You have the ability to retrieve your check images
from TrustTouchWeb. Checks that have cleared your account
within the last 360 days (on most accounts) are available at the click of
a button. To retrieve your checks, log into TrustTouchWeb,
and on the “Balances” screen, click the
checking account on which you want to view transactions.
When the “Activity” screen appears, you
will be able to see the checks, debits, and credits
that have posted to your account since the previous
banking day. Click on the desired check; (only checks
with check numbers are currently available) the next
page will give you more detail about the transaction.
Next, click the “View Image” button.
In a few seconds, you will receive an image of your
check with the back so that you can see the endorsement!
Is that cool or what?
To
see better detail or to save a copy of this check
image, move the mouse pointer over the front or the
back of the check, whichever you want to save, and
right click. Your browser will list options to save
the image. Make sure that you remember where you are
saving the image so that you can find it later. To
open the saved image, double click on it, or open
it in a graphics program. The check image now will
be larger and clearer, and you can e-mail it or print
it for your records.

Transaction
categories - Have you ever wondered where
the money goes? How much do you spend on laundry, meals,
or fuel? TrustTouchWeb now provides an easy way to track
these expenses by allowing you to categorize your transactions.
First, you must create some categories. We have created
a few standard categories, but you may want to create
some of your own as well. The following menu bar appears
in TrustTouchWeb.
Click
on “Categories” to go to the “Category
List” page. Here you create a category if you
do not want to use some of the standard categories.
The categories you create here will be available under
the “View Transaction” detail screen for
you to assign to your transactions.
A
fter
you have categorized your transactions, you can generate
reports. Click on the menu item to the right of “Categories,”
which is “Reports,” and select the account
and time frame for which you want to generate a report.
There are options that allow you to view only the
transactions that you need to see. This feature should
be especially helpful during tax time! If you have
questions, click on the “Customer Service/FAQ”
button at the top of the screen to search for answers.
If you do not see a specific answer, simply, "ask
a question," and we will be happy to help!
