The purpose of this job is to file claim on all foreclosed loans, maintain follow-up until claim payments received, and submit supplemental claims as required, secure vacancy, property preservation, adhere to investor/guarantor and PMI guidelines for foreclosed properties.

  • Adhere to all investor/guarantor and PMI timelines for f/c properties
  • Secure vacancy, change locks, property preservation
  • Secure extensions from investors
  • File claims on foreclosed loans
  • Follow file for claim payment and process funds as received
  • Telephone calls to/from contractors and field reps. Process mail, emails, money, etc.
  • Knowledge of default servicing, specifically with federally secured mortgage loans
  • Knowledge of bankruptcy guidelines, loss mitigation alternatives, and foreclosure procedures
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Excel and Word skills
  • 10 key calculator
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, governmental agencies, contractors, and field services
  • Two (2) year college education
  • Two (2) years of Mortgage loan servicing experience, preferably in default area
