The purpose of this job is to file claim on all foreclosed loans, maintain follow-up until claim payments received, and submit supplemental claims as required, secure vacancy, property preservation, adhere to investor/guarantor and PMI guidelines for foreclosed properties.
- Adhere to all investor/guarantor and PMI timelines for f/c properties
- Secure vacancy, change locks, property preservation
- Secure extensions from investors
- File claims on foreclosed loans
- Follow file for claim payment and process funds as received
- Telephone calls to/from contractors and field reps. Process mail, emails, money, etc.
- Knowledge of default servicing, specifically with federally secured mortgage loans
- Knowledge of bankruptcy guidelines, loss mitigation alternatives, and foreclosure procedures
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Excel and Word skills
- 10 key calculator
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, governmental agencies, contractors, and field services
- Two (2) year college education
- Two (2) years of Mortgage loan servicing experience, preferably in default area
