Overview

The purpose of this job is to comply with all investors, guarantor, and PMI guidelines and to assist customer, default staff and/or legal staff with avoidance of foreclosure completion in effort to minimize delinquency, foreclosure, and excessive loss to servicer.

Responsibilities:
  • Email correspondence with legal staff and document accounts accordingly
  • Secure appraisals and payoff information; secure bidding instructions from guarantors and PMI companies
  • Miscellaneous telephone activity with borrowers and legal staff
  • Preparing foreclosure request and documents for approval
  • Properly documenting the system of record
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Education or GED
  • Administrative or Operational Support experience
  • General Knowledge of lending, servicing, and/or collection process.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and 10 key calculator.
  • Must be able to function without supervision, be well organized, flexible, able to interact with diverse personalities in department, and handle customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively with legal staff via email, written documentation and via telephone
  • Collection/Foreclosure/Loss Mitigation experience preferred 
  • Experience with investor, guarantor, and PMI guidelines preferred
