Overview

Position is responsible for developing, compiling, and analyzing data, preparing reports, making presentations, dashboards, and interpreting data to effectively convey the Retail Banking story and to assist the management team with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, run, modify, and produce accurate standard/ad-hoc queries and reports to support business needs for information and/or data
  • Monitor and analyze Retail branch fraud losses
  • Analyze and understand data to provide clarity to the team and assist with data-driven decisions
  • Create dashboards, meaningful graphic visualizations, general and executive-level presentations, and effective reports to convey the story and to assist the retail management team with data-driven decisions
  • Prepare monthly reports for CIS, CTR Violations, Exceptions, New Account Charge off and cash outages
  • Develop and analyze operational statistics relative to the Retail Branch activity. Prepare management reports to document trends and predict future results
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, analytics or related field or commensurate work experience
  • 2+ years of experience or related college course work involving data extracts, data storytelling and presentation of data related topics
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Must be able to always exercise confidentiality
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Must be detail with strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Data Analytics or other related certification preferred
  • Experience with dashboard software including Power BI, etc. preferred
  • Knowledge of data and practices, preference is prior experience with Trustmark data and organizational structure preferred
  • Ability to write SQL queries preferred
