Overview

The purpose of this position is to provide application and system level administration for enterprise level business analytics software or platforms. Duties will include software installation, configuration, maintenance, user security, connectivity, documentation, performance monitoring, and system/application monitoring. This position may also be expected to work with database applications to assure data availability for enterprise reporting. Administrative duties will include managing and delivering audit and control requirements on systems within the purview of the unit.

 

**This position may be filled as a level I or II based on additional experience and qualifications required.**

Responsibilities:
  • Manage user and security access to application software
  • Proactively monitor and manage application architecture for optimal performance
  • Install, upgrade and reconfigure applications
  • Create internal documentation, flowcharts and guides for internal users
  • Maintain proper audit documentation and respond to audit requirements
  • Investigate system/application capabilities and engage with peer associates to assure effective utilization and integration into processes
  • Engage and communicate with business units regarding system/application operational requirements and implement effective solutions
  • Resolve reported system/application incidents in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems or related field, or sufficient certifications or practical experience in systems/applications similar to our architecture
  • 2 years of experience leading or actively participating in the administration of a multi-user advanced system, or 1 year of experience as a Trustmark Information Technology Development Associate [ITDA]
  • Clear demonstration of advanced systems and administration proficiencies while at Trustmark
  • Competency and capability to perform work independently and within a team structure
  • Demonstration of advanced systems and administration proficiencies
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Vizio
  • Oral, written and visual communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Experience with data analytics tools and platforms
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.

 

Additional qualifications required for Level II:

  • 5 years of demonstrated competency leading or actively participating in the administration of a multi-user advanced systems, configuring and maintaining complex application capabilities, and the subsequent user support, or 2 years of experience as a Trustmark Information Technology Development Associate [ITDA].
