Overview

Responsibilities:
  • As a participant in the Human Resources Development Program, you will work within our Organizational Development department where you will assist the Talent Development Manager in performing OD interventions such as the Team Effectiveness and Assessment Services process, change management activities and other types of interventions as needed.
  • Perform, coordinate and administer various OD functions to include career counseling and coaching, 360 assessments, succession planning, and any additional activities that management deems necessary.
  • Work with Trustmark's development programs (Emerging Talent, Development Associate Program, Interns, Co-ops, and Technical Development Analyst, CRMA) by coordinating the program schedules , working with HR and Training and related business units.
Qualifications

Trustmark focuses on program participants who have a demonstrated strong work ethic and leadership skills through academic performance, work experience and campus involvement. In addition, interested students should also:

  • Earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology or Human Resources with an emphasis in 
  • Scheduled to graduate on or before June 2025
  • Prior experience with Excel with an ability to learn Pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.
  • Detail oriented, organized, analytical and demonstrated problem solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle complex projects with a sense of urgency, confidentiality, adaptability to change, innovation, tech savvy and results oriented
  • Internship or prior work experience a plus
  • Enthusiasm and genuine interest in developing a career with Trustmark and the financial industry
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 
  • Full- Time position located in Jackson, MS.
  • Must commit to a June 2, 2025 start date.
