Overview

Drive new business development with approved third-party sources for new purchased business while maintaining coordination among bank clients and prospects as appropriate.

 

This position may be filled as a level I, II or III.  Additional qualifications and responsibilities apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive syndication income through the selling of assets as directed and to help balance risk and overall bank exposures to certain credits and asset categories
  • Create a marketing plan on a go to market strategy around client profiles, industry types, geographies, third party sources and asset types
  • Develop proposals on new business while coordinating with the Underwriting team
  • Coordinate with Underwriting for required client information and onboarding procedures
  • New business should adhere to appropriate risk, pricing, and profiling consistent with the overall EF strategy
  • Maintain appropriate travel and entertainment expenses
  • Look for opportunities to make cross sell and introductions to other bank LOBs as appropriate
  • Responsible for adding required new clients per year to their portfolio
  • Keep all calling, client information and opportunities accurate and timely in the designated CRM system
Qualifications
  • 4-year degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or business with emphasis in finance and accounting
  • Minimum experience of 3 years originating new commercial clients
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are required
  • Be fluent in all loan and lease products and the overall equipment finance industry
  • Be fluent in the approved and designated pricing software
  • Advanced Analytical Skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Products

 

Additional Qualifications for Level II:

Required:

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in originating new commercial clients

 

Additional Qualifications for Level III:

Required:

  • Minimum experience of 10 years in originating new commercial clients
