Overview

The major responsibilities of this position is to partner with the internal business units for their Procurement/Sourcing activities and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business unit leaders to identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for internal business units
  • Lead contract negotiations with diplomacy and engage appropriate corporate partners
  • Conduct vendor evaluations, e.g., potential new vendors, evaluating contracts.
  • Manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 4-year bachelors in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Management or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Display a strong sense of ownership and a drive for achieving results
  • The ability to complete tasks with accuracy, thorough attention to detail with consistency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work and analyze large amounts of information
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to think objectively
  • Independent thinker and ability to work in at team environment
  • Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
