Overview

The position is responsible for maintaining accurate bureau reporting with in Mortgage banking, communication with mortgage loan borrowers and reporting agencies responding to customer inquiries maintaining required records of complaints and resolutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Timely response reviewing, researching, correcting, reporting and monitoring of consumer credit disputes
  • Communication or responding with customers written or verbal in a professional manor maintaining integrity and reputation
  • Recommend implements and maintains the Mortgage loan FCRA/FACT Act Compliance program and revises as necessary. Maintains regulatory notices to borrowers with in the loss mitigation default area
  • Develops procedures for the monitoring of consumer credit dispute activity and assists with identifying technology solution enhancements as needed for compliance with the FCRA/FACT Act regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • College degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of mortgage banking experience
  • Legal or regulatory environment knowledge
  • Credit Bureaus/Interpretation responding to consumer inquiries through E-Oscar, phone or written request
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • Mortgage Servicing or Consumer Lending operation
  • Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, accurate, and organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Experience in Credit or Mortgage Operations Department preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
