Overview

The responsibilities of this position include overseeing and managing the general operations of the department, training and coaching associates through the transition from the M&I core system to an FIS core operating system. This role will ensure that all data is properly loaded and verified on the new Core system and is crucial for maintaining smooth and efficient changes, minimizing disruptions, and maintaining system integrity with account maintenance and servicing in compliance with BSA, US Patriot Act, Bank policy, and Compliance guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate associate performance and the direction of the operations department to ensure relevant skills and processes are in place with technology and servicing the needs of the organization.
  • Develop and train associates to promote maximum productivity within the CORE operating system.
  • Ensure associates understand assigned duties and tasks.
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all systems involved in the processing and maintenance of the department.
  • Review associates’ work and advise on policies/procedures related to CORE transformation when necessary.
  • Ensure all associates are properly trained and prepared for enhancements and changes to functionality.
  • Receive, research and resolve issues/complaints and serve as liaison between associates and management to provide feedback on processing issues and error resolution within the FIS Core transition.
  • Guide team through daily work activities within the new CORE and monitor associates’ performance to ensure maximum productivity.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree with one year of banking and/or data integrity experience.
    • Associate’s degree with two years of banking and/or data integrity experience.
    • High School diploma or GED four years of banking and/or data integrity experience
  • Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize workloads, motivate and train, while performing daily duties/responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn quickly, meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience adhering to and analyzing policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and instructions.
  • Basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Create and maintain detailed/accurate reports to analyze data, monitor productivity, and provide teaching opportunities.
  • Ability to identify improvements in daily processes, consult with management on recommended changes, and implement approved solutions.
  • People oriented with customer focus.
  • Prior background in systems transition preferred
  • Supervisory skills to assist management in the transition preferred
  • Working knowledge of bank and/or deposit operations processes and functions preferred
  • Business process redesign experience preferred
  • Some balancing experience preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
