Overview

The purpose of this position is to accurately input basic commercial and consumer loan information into the core loan system using various sources of information including loan applications, promissory notes, booking data sheets and other source documents. Additionally, this position reviews loan funding and processing of general ledger tickets for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Input basic commercial and consumer loan information into the core loan system using various sources of information including loan applications, promissory notes, booking data sheets and other source documents in accordance with regulations and bank policies.
  • Review loan funding and processing of general ledger tickets for accuracy and regulatory compliance and input offsetting general ledger entries.
  • Process monetary and non-monetary transactions for basic new and renewed loans and renewed loans.
  • Communicate with lending staff to gather additional information as needed to accurately board loans and resolve issues.
  • Perform daily balancing of loan transactions and fees and assist with the resolution of unreconciled transactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of commercial and consumer loan collateral, security, and lien perfection requirements
  • Basic understanding of loan structure and billing
  • Basic knowledge of loan compliance and coding requirements
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Display strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Provide excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office and other data entry type systems
  • General understanding of debits and credits associated with the loan/bank processing
  • Ability to understand and communicate loan document requirements
  • Analytical/judgement skills
  • Required with two-year college education preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
