History 

Fisher Brown Bottrell was formed through the acquisition of the Dan Bottrell Agency and the Fisher Brown Agency by Trustmark. Both agencies have long standing histories of providing risk management strategies and solutions for their clients. The Dan Bottrell Agency was founded in 1936 in Jackson, MS and established a niche in Commercial insurance and bonding. Bottrell was acquired by Trustmark in 1999, and in 2002 Bottrell merged with Chandler Sampson Insurance, adding profession and public entity risk management to its line of products and services. Fisher Brown was founded in 1911 in Pensacola, FL with a focus on the hospitality, construction and healthcare industries. Fisher Brown was acquired by Trustmark in 2004.
 
Today, Fisher Brown Bottrell ranks as one of the largest bank-owned agencies in the U.S., with over 180 associates in offices in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
