We understand that the government shutdown may affect some of our customers, and we are here to help those who may need assistance during this time.

If you are a government employee or member of the military who is impacted by the shutdown, we are prepared to help you with your Trustmark accounts.

How We Can Help


Our associates are ready to assist customers whose income has been affected by the shutdown. To make this easier, we have established a special shutdown assistance hotline for our customers to call in order to speak directly to an associate for assistance with either personal or business accounts.

What You Should Know


We remain committed to working closely with our customers during the shutdown. The following information answers some commonly asked questions about the shutdown:
  • The Federal Reserve will remain fully functional, maintaining its monetary, regulatory and supervisory responsibilities. This includes check clearing, wire transfers, foreign currency processing, etc.
  • FDIC Deposit Insurance coverage remains unchanged.
  • Social Security payments are expected to continue uninterrupted; however, new claims and card issuance may be suspended for the duration of the shutdown.
