Information for Homeowners
Mortgage Insurance Claims and Repairs

If you have a mortgage insurance claim or need home repairs, notify Trustmark as soon as possible at 1.800.844.2400 Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or by visiting one of our branches. We can help expedite the insurance claims process for our mortgage customers.

After you have filed a homeowners insurance claim, send a copy of the claim documents (adjustor's report, contractor's report, etc.) via email to mtginsuranceloss@trustmark.com or via fax to 601-208-2991.  Once we receive your documents, we will contact you to discuss the next steps needed to help you start your home repairs.  We'll work with you and your insurance company and will provide you with important details on how to process your claim check. We'll also discuss how Trustmark will be involved in the process to restore your home.

 Tips for Choosing a Contractor

  • Choose a reliable, licensed and/or bonded contractor according to your state requirements.
  • Look for an established contractor in your area through the Better Business Bureau.
  • Choose a fully insured contractor with proper certification.
  • Obtain bids in writing from at least 3 contractors.
  • Ask for a list of referrals and suppliers.


Consumer Loans
Credit Bureau Reporting - Trustmark will not report loan customers in FEMA designated disaster zip codes as past due from October 8, 2018 - March 31, 2019.
