Get Help with Disaster Recovery
  • Immediately notify your insurance agent and/or insurance company of the disaster/property damage and file a claim.
  • Ask your insurance agent and/or insurance company when they will evaluate the damage to your home according to your homeowner’s and/or flood policy.
  • Ask your insurance agent and/or insurance company when an insurance adjustor will inspect your property and when you can expect any claim checks to be processed.
Contact Trustmark's Mortgage Department
  • Notify Trustmark as soon as possible at 1.800.844.2400, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or by visiting one of our available branches.  Our associates are ready to assist you.
  • We will provide important details on how to process your insurance claim check, discuss how Trustmark will be involved in the process to restore your home, and look for other ways we may help during this time.
Mortgage Insurance Claims and Repairs

We can help expedite the insurance claims process for Trustmark mortgage customers.  After you have filed a homeowners insurance claim, send a copy of the claim documents (adjustor's report, contractor's report, etc.) via email to mtginsuranceloss@trustmark.com or via fax to 601-208-2991.  Once we receive your documents, we will contact you to discuss the next steps needed to help you start your home repairs.  We'll work with you and your insurance company and will provide you with important details on how to process your claim check. We'll also discuss how Trustmark will be involved in the process to restore your home.

 Tips for Choosing a Contractor

  • Choose a reliable, licensed and/or bonded contractor according to your state requirements.
  • Look for an established contractor in your area through the Better Business Bureau.
  • Choose a fully insured contractor with proper certification.
  • Obtain bids in writing from at least 3 contractors.
  • Ask for a list of referrals and suppliers.


Consumer Banking

ATM Fees - Trustmark Customers (All Florida Locations)
Switch fees for Trustmark customers using a non-Trustmark ATM will be waived through October 31, 2018.  Surcharge fees will be refunded to Trustmark customers using a non-Trustmark ATM through October 31, 2018.

ATM / Debit Cards - Replacement card fees will be waived through November 15, 2018.

Non-sufficient Funds / Overdraft Fees - Trustmark is waiving non-sufficient funds and overdraft fees incurred from October 8, 2018 – October 31, 2018, for customers of our Bay County locations.

Consumer Loans

Credit Bureau Reporting - Trustmark will not report loan customers in FEMA designated disaster zip codes as past due from October 8, 2018 - March 31, 2019.

Late Fees - Trustmark will waive late fees incurred on any consumer loans, including credit cards, HELOCs, mortgage and consumer loans, for customers in FEMA designated disaster zip codes through January 10, 2019.
