Overview

This position includes opening and distribution of mail, logging in loan packages and assigning to the specialists to review key elements of the loan.  The specialists prepare the tickets, documents, etc. for New Loan Setup to meet FNMA and GNMA’s delivery schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Open and distribute mail for the mortgage department.
  • Accept and review incoming closing packages for Wholesale and Retail channels.
  • Scan and/or upload and index the closing packages into Image Flow through Closing/Imaging systems.
  • Prepare the pool folder and deliver to Loan Delivery.
  • Review the CD and enter key data elements, including dates, into Partners.
  • Prepare tickets for wholesale loans and balance tickets for Retail closings.
  • Order early check and register loans in MERS.
  • Log in and upload final documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of financial experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to learn and follow instructions according to bank policies and procedures
  • Keyboard/Typing skills
  • Previous mortgage experience preferred
