Person to Person Payments
The quick, secure and easy way to send money.
Make one-time payments anytime, anywhere
Need to reimburse a friend for dinner or pay the babysitter? Person to Person (P2P) payments through myTrustmark® is the ideal solution for making payments.
Click on the Person to Person payments icon in the navigation menu.
Enter the email address or mobile phone number of the recipient, payment amount, default account and note about the payment (dinner, babysitting, etc.).
Select Transfer Funds to send your payment.
Accessing P2P payments from a browser
From trustmark.com, log in to myTrustmark using the Log In button in the upper right corner. Select Person to Person payments under the Pay and Transfer or Money Movement tab.
Enter the email address of the recipient, payment amount, default account and a note about the payment (dinner, babysitting, etc.).
Click on Transfer Funds to send your payment.
Important Information
Only Trustmark checking accounts with an associated debit card are enabled for initiating P2P payments.
Payments to another Trustmark customer will usually be reflected as pending transactions within minutes for both you and the recipient.
There is a daily payment limit up to $1,000 and up to 10 transactions/day.
Protect your money
Payments should be sent to family, friends or people you know and trust.
Let the recipient know you are sending them money so that they can be on the lookout for the transaction. Non-Trustmark payment recipients will receive a text message or email notifying them that you have sent them funds. The recipient must accept the funds, and we recommend acceptance through Venmo or PayPal. (There is a debit card option available, however, many cards are not set up to accept deposits.)
Funds move quickly once a payment has been entered. If you ever need to cancel a transaction, it must be done while the transaction status is pending. To cancel a transaction, click the transaction listing icon in the upper right corner of the P2P payments page to view and select the appropriate transaction.
