In return for the incentive funding provided by the State, Mississippi Silicon committed to provide at least 150 jobs for an area that has a 14.6% unemployment rate and few alternative employment opportunities.

Mississippi Silicon is working closely with government officials at both the state and local level to ensure strong job training programs are in place that provide the skills and training necessary to source full-time and part-time employees and contractors from the local area.
